A refrigerator cannot just roll out to the curb — the refrigerant sealed inside legally has to be recovered first, by someone certified to do it. We take care of that whole process for Vado households and send better than 95% of the old unit to a recycler instead of the landfill.
Three easy steps from your first text to a swept-clean space. Every bit of the heavy work stays on us.
Give us the fridge type, size, and spot in your Vado home; we quote a flat rate and set a window.
The crew recovers the refrigerant to EPA standard, frees the lines, and eases the fridge out of your Vado place.
Your old refrigerator goes to a recycler where better than 95% of the material is reclaimed.
There is a real reason fridge disposal is regulated: the refrigerant inside vents straight to the atmosphere if it is not recovered properly, and mishandling one can draw a fine. Our certified techs pull the refrigerant first, then move the unit out — side-by-side, French door, top-freezer, bottom-freezer, the garage beer fridge, mini fridges, wine coolers, even commercial boxes, every type gets the same treatment, with ice-maker and water lines disconnected cleanly on the way. From there it goes to a recycling partner that strips the compressor, coils, steel, plastic, and insulation out separately, so almost nothing of the appliance actually gets buried.
Vado strings along I-10 in the south valley between Mesquite and Berino, far enough out that a drive to a transfer station eats half the day. We bring the truck to the lot instead and load every piece by hand.
Refrigerators hold EPA-regulated refrigerant that has to be recovered first. Our Vado service handles that step and recycles the unit legally.
It runs $100 to $150 in Vado depending on size and where the unit sits, and that covers recovery, hauling, and recycling.
We do — reach-in boxes, walk-in cooler panels, and commercial freezers all go from Vado restaurants and shops.
